They can move directly to Netherlands, either with or to join you;SuperCharger wrote:Dear Members,
This forum always helped people for there immigrations questions and always been a very helpful platform. I have a question regarding moving to Netherlands. I am a British Citizen, My wife is on a spouse visa and is from non EEA countries. She is living with me since 2 years in UK. My parents also belong to Non EEA country and are on a family visit on a UK visit visa. My parents are financially dependent on me and i am regularly sending money to them since more than 2 years.
My company plans to send me to Netherlands on long term assignments. Now I intend to move myself, wife and my parents to Netherlands. My question is can my parents move to Netherlands with me and live there permanently from UK or they need to go back to their home country first and apply entry clearance visa ? if its possible from here in UK, then what will be the procedure to obtain there entry visa? and also there residence cards for Netherlands? what docs to show their dependency on myself please?
i will be highly obliged if any one can share his/her thoughts on it please.
many thanks
Olie

The posters parents are not British. The OP is trying to use the EEA Family member route to bring his parents to live with him in Netherlands.rooibos wrote:If your parents are British they don't need any visa. All they need is a rental contract to register with the Gemeente and then to pay into an insurance.
There's plenty of information available to answer such a question for UK (even in 'Gov UK' website)..SuperCharger wrote:For dependency purposes, I was thinking for receipts of money I had been sending to them, their income and expenses balance sheet, utility bills in their name, their pension documents, and Dr. written prescriptions for their long term medical treatments. can anyone advise if those are sufficient for the purpose or i need to add some more docs for strengthening the case please?
many thanks
