Child MN1 application

Post by kakkarvarun1981 » Sun Jan 10, 2016 4:25 pm

Hi,

Can I apply naturalisation (MN1) for my u.k. born daughter when my husband is still a Tier 1 dependent and I have just received my ILR in Dec, 2015?

I understand that it has been explained earlier that guide is bit misleading as it states "parents" instead of "parent" to have settled but the law as said earlier hasn't changed in last 30 years.

Just wanted to confirm that nothing has changed since.

Thanks,
Raj

Yes you can. It is an entitlement to Register if born in the UK.

Children are Registered. Only adults are naturalised.
