Hello everyone..I wanted to find out if a child's father outside of uk ,can he apply on family right even tjo the child is not yet settled?

Is the father named on the child's birth certificate?

I have a discretionary leave and am due settlement in a few months ,he's also on the child's birth certificate....if I have to wait do I need to have the kids registered and have their certificate or passports before applying thanks
