Tier2 - ILR (10 year route )

Hi Forum,

I am currently on Tier 2 visa and will be eligible for ILR ( 10 year route) in month of April 16 If for any reason my employer curtails my visa before that, would I be eligible to switch to ILR within the 60 day period granted? Or is that period only allowed to switch from tier 2 to another tier 2.

Any help on this will be truly appreciated.
