FLRM section 9 BRP

Post by fantasist » Sat Jan 16, 2016 4:19 pm

Hi, I'm doing FLRM for my wife and we are a bit confused about section 9

My wife had a BRP card back in 2010 and it was expired at the end of 2010 as well. Since then, she has not got any BRP card. And her last entry was dependant for PBS tier 1 general which she did outside the UK without a BRP card. My question is:

1. does she answer yes in 9.1 and enter all the info about the BRP card that was expired in 2010? And enclose it according to 9.7
2. does she simply answer no in 9.1 and put the details where and when she got her fingerprints taken outside the UK last time?

Many thanks

Michael

It is option 2 if she DOES NOT have a CURRENT visa in the BRP format.

thanks for your reply. Then how about section 13A

Your BRP if you have been issued with one since entering the UK. (does she provide the 2010 expired BRP card?)

What was her previous BRP for, which visa?

Does she still have this BRP?

the 2010 expired BRP was for her Master degree visa, she still has it. I'm so confused whether that's something she needs to give info for or not, or if she needs to include that.

Apologies, it would then be yes to 9.1

13A, not sure if she would be required to send, I don't think so.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm still confused, if yes to 9.1, she must give the expired BRP's info and enclose it according to 9.7 and hence 13A applies too. Am I correct?

If she does answer 9.1 does she still answer 9.12?

Cheers
