Now my question a few months ago was

I am on a general 2 year tourist vistor and I understand im only been allowed to stay in the UK for only 6months. However my wife who ive been living with since i got to the UK got pregnant for me in april of this year and i was advised to make an application for a right to remain before the end of my current 6month stay visa in order for me to not be an overstayer which i did. My question now is what are my chances of getting an indefinate right to remain as my wife is due in december. I came to the UK in Feburary and I made my application in July so my application was made before my 6 month stay exhausted although i have a 2year visa

Now my baby has been born and registered accordingly in my name, although we are yet to apply for his british passport (but that shouldnt be a problem) please could any one advise me on the right steps to take now that i have a british baby boy and wife while im still here on a 2year visa (my first application was refused last year and i am still on an appeal and awaiting a due court hearing) so please what' are the chances of me getting a permanent stay this time and what kind of route do i put in for, is it the spouse or family route, any advices would be highly appericiated

My wife is originally carribean but holds a british passport
so my boy is originally british
he was born sometime in mid December
So my questions are what route would you advise me to take
and again what are the chances of getting it this time now i have a baby and been with my wife for over a year now.

Read through the conditions that need to be met for a FLR(FP) application and see if you feel you qualify. No one can tell you what chance you have of success, but if you are eventually granted a visa (it's a long process), you would be on a 10 year route to permanent settlement.

Please you have to understand that i have not overstayed as prior to my 6 month stay
i had put in an application which was refused as my spouse was pregnant and then i put in
an appeal which is yet to receive a final hearing now my son is here and im trying to know
what the decisions could be if i put in for the FLP (FR)

You haven't answered what application you submitted that failed? You don't currently have any valid leave as a 2 year visitor visa doesn't enable you to stay longer than 6 months.

The application i had put was a family humanitarian 2year route
because my spouse was pregnant, i understood that it would fail and it did
then i put in an appeal and yet to hear a final decision. now my son is here and i want to withdraw
my appeal and put in a new FLP (FR) Application (a new one) but my question is what are the chances
with my son been here and my wife been here and both british and me still been on a 2year (cancelled) or overstayed visa

The applicant must not be in the UK:
 as a visitor; or
 with valid leave granted for a period of 6 months or less, unless that leave is as a
fiancé(e) or a proposed civil partner, or was granted pending the outcome of family
court or divorce proceedings.

This is clearly confusing and doesnt look good
Although im not an overstayer as prior to my 6month stay, I had put in an application
and then an appeal and i understand that while these processes goes on, i cannot be considered an over stayer but now i wish to withdrawl my appeal and put in a new application immediately for the FLP (FR) ROUTE
but from the responses it still doesnt look good

(please can someone simply advise me on what exactly to do?
