Child passport application

In under 1 year old child first Passport check n send service does postoffice send parent origional documents i.e. BRP(ILR) card with the application or do they copy and give origional back to parent?

If they do send it along wont it be good to apply ontime instead of postoffice in both cases one of parent need to send originals bearing the same proportion of risk of losing in transit?

Only copies of parents passport and BRP are neede. Post office do not photocopy documents. You can apply directly wth HMPO if child born after you got IKR
