Tier2 ICT long term staff migrant to Tier2 general dependent

Hi,

I hold Tier2 ICT long term staff migrant visa valid upto Jan 2018, and my husband holds tier 2 general visa valid upto Dec 2018.
1. Can I switch to Tier 2 general dependent visa before or after Jan 2018 depending on my project assignment.
2. Would I be eligible to get Tier2 sponsor after I switch to tier 2 general dependent visa, or is any cool off period required.

1. You can switch at any point but before your current visa expires.

2. You will need to stay on Tier 2 G Dependent status for a full 12 months from date of issue before you can apply for your own Tier 2 General.

For each application, you have to pay the immigration health surcharge and meet the standard requirements etc.

Regarding #1, While I am on Tier-2 ICT LT staff visa, Can I apply for ICT Tier-2 Gen. dependent from UK or should I go to my home country.
Also, in case my ICT Tier-2 LT staff visa expires, can I apply for Tier-2 general dependent visa immediately.

You can apply for Tier 2 General at any point once your partner has been granted Tier 2 General as main applicant. You do not have to wait till closer to your current visa expiry date. You must apply for Tier 2 G Dependent visa BEFORE your current visa expires.

You can switch WITHIN the UK once your partner is back.
