Parent's Name in British Passport

Post by srivisaN » Tue Feb 02, 2016 2:04 pm

Hi,

I recently came to know that my monther's first name has got one extra letter "H" in her Indian passport whereas my Indian Passport don't have that letter.

Now that I am applying for British Passport, can I fill the Naturalization form with her name with that extra letter "H". If I do so, her name in my Indian passport doesn't match (as it misses one letter "H")

I came to know that, they don't put parent's names on British Passport but I am not sure about her future Visitor visa applications (sponsored by me) if I don't do the change now.

Thanks,
Sri.

Your application and her 'potential future visit visa' applications are two separate things.

You should write the name as it appears in your passport (in case HO check).
Char (CR001 not Casa)
