Tier 2 visas - both get Tier 2, do we also get PBS Dependant

Hi, looking for advice.

I am about to be sponsored into a Tier 2 General employer sponsored visa, having satisfied the labour market test. My wife is going to transfer with her employer on Tier 2 Intra-company transfer. (I am getting it first, she is starting in the next few weeks). Both employers (both very large corporations) have said we need to get their sponsored visa to reduce risk (i.e. if I was PBS on my wife's Tier 2 and she was made redundant, then I have to leave the country).

My question is whether I get her added as a PBS Dependant on my visa now, before she applies for her intra-company transfer? Can she hold both visas at the same time?

Then, when she gets her intra-company transfer visa - would I register on that, or just assume that I can get it on a priority service should I ever lose my job?

She cannot hold a PBS Dependent AND a Tier 2 ICT (main applicant) at the same time.

If you add her as your dependent, this will automatically be cancelled when she applies for Tier 2 ICT.

Tier 2 ICT does not lead to ILR and if she switches to PBS Dependent after say 2 years, she will lose the two years on Tier 2 ICT and be on a new 5 year route as PBS Dep.

Tier 2 ICT does not pay immigration health surcharge. Tier 2 General (and dependents) have to pay immigration health surcharge.
