Additional info will be helpful. Who is the main applicant and who is the dependent? Where are both currently located?

Thought you were applying for ILR in April based on Tier 1 General?

Yes, Thats right.

I am about to apply for ILR for Tier 1 General in April 2016 as you can see from following link.

http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... l#p1302166

After reading the issues in Tier 1 General to ILR (I have paid all the taxes on time, But need to explain properly to HO), I am thinking to switch to Tier 1 General to Tier 2 dependent.

My Wife will be the main applicant and we both married and living together from 2009.

She has tier 2 visa till Sept 2017

But she is on maternity leave still august 2016. So can i apply as tier 2 depend now?

Or Should i go with "Tier 1 General to ILR" route with proper explanation?

Please advice

it has to be your choice and decision.
if you do decide to become tier 2 dependent, you will need to have a maintenance in account for £630+ for more than 90 days and u can apply within uk. It doesnt matter if she is on maternity leave.

I couldn't find an option to book a premium service appointment for tier 2 dependent visa

Can we book an appointment for premium service for PBS tier 2 dependent visa?

Or do we need to fill the online form and apply via post?

Start here, premium service is available but you only have an option to apply online, there is no paper based form.

It should yes.

Only someone who has done this online application can answer you. We don't all know the online process or have log ins to check.
