Maximum time limit Tier 2 dependent stay outside UK

Hello ,

My daughter currently in Tier 2 visa went to India with her grand parents on Oct 2015 and will be back only on March 2016,in total she will be outside UK for around 170 days

Is she is allowed to enter the country without any immigration issues and will there be any problem when we extend the visa in June 2017?

I don't think there will be any problem.
If you are planning to apply for ILR in future, then make sure that you and your dependent are not outside of UK for more than 180 days in any 12 months of 5 years.
Expert can give you better advise on this.

180 days in 12 months DOES NOT apply to PBS Dependents.

Absences should be limited and for good reason. As a child (assuming) she should be fine.

Thanks for the quick response.

She went for holiday for 2 months with her grand parents and we (me and my wife) went to india from Dec to Jan and while return we were planning to get her back but during the time of travel she was not well and doctor advice not to take her.

So we had to come back as we already taken lot of holiday and my wife is going on March to get her back.

Will the immigration in the airport will question on her return. Do we need to inform immigration regarding the reason for the long absence?
