I would really appreciate help from any one. I have been living In the UK from 2013 on a spouse visa of a British citizen. I have two sons who are British citizens aged 18 and 19. My visa was about to expire in January 25, 2016, I applied for a second extension of FLR M on the last week of December. On first week of January I got acknowledgement letter and the next week I received Biometric invitation along with a letter which suggested to fill up the children section as well. Since my sons were already British I had left that section unfilled. I filled as instructed and posted it back. waited for two months and on 27 feb, I got a package from HO returning my application as invalid because I failed to pay health Surcharge. Upon reading all the documents again and again I found out that with biometric letter they had also asked to pay health surcharge which was written in the back of the letter which was left unread due to ignorance, lets call it a big mistake from my side. Now, as the HO returned my application as invalid and its been more than 28 days that my visa expired. what options do I have ? can I make a fresh application again paying all of the necessary fees? please suggest me ...
