Hi All,

Query regarding dependant children.

My name is Hema, currently on a Tier 1 Dependant Visa valid until Feb 2018. I am married to my partner who holds a Tier1 visa. I have two kids from my previous marriage. Now we both are applying for dependant visa for our kids who are currently based in India. I would like to know the process/required document involved in applying for their dependant visa.

It would be a great help if someone could guide us on this.

Do you have sole responsibility of the children and proof of it or a letter from their father?

Hi thanks for the response. I can confirm that both my kids are under my custody as per the court documents. Do i require any more documentation? Should my husband adopt the kids? or something like that?

Does your ex have joint custody or visitation rights per court order?

Is your ex involved with the children?

My ex does not have any joint custody or visitation order from the court neither does visit the children .

Do I still need to get a No objection letter . If so can you kindly let me know if we have any standard format specific for UK visa application.
