Post by cg1909 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 10:13 am

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Visa and my wife is on Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Partner visa. I want to ask following questions:

1) Can my wife work on in UK?

2) If yes, then w does she need from anything her employer with regards to taking employment?

3) Do I need anything from my employer regards to my wife taking employment in UK?

Thanks in Advance.

1. Yes

2. What do you mean 'does she need anything form employer'? If she has a valid visa, an NI number and her employer gives her a contract of employment, what more do you think she needs?

3. No. Your employer is NOT your wife's sponsor.

Thank you CR001 for the reply.

Can you please further clarify following things?

[CG1909]: Does she require sponsorship from her future employer? How to obtain NI Number?

How to obtain NI Number? Contact Job Centre or DWP/HMRC. Exactly the same process as you did to get your NI number.
