Confirmation Receipt by HO

Hi Everyone,
I hope you're all well.
I wonder if anyone was int eh same situation as me.
I have applied for my british citizenship via NCS, however they havent given me any tracking number to check whether my application was indeed received by HO.
The money is yet to go off my account, and i have called both the council and the HO, and they both said that i have to wait until The money leaves my account - and that would be my confirmation!!
I have checked the time line for the 2016 applications, and all/most posts mention that the money has gone off their accounts 2 weeks after the date of the application - mine has now been two weeks and the £1K is happily staying in my account - any thoughts please?

NCS should have provided you with a receipt and the tracking number for Royal Mail as most NCS's use special delivery to send the applications.

Well, they didnt give me any trcking number, I applied 12 days ago!

That's a bit savage. I paid £70 for my NCS appointment which lasted barely 20 minutes, so I'd be very upset if I wasn't given a tracking number

My council NCS send all the applications by Royal Mail special delivery. The tracking number for my application was written on my NCS receipt and HO received it next day before even 9am.

I would get on the phone and start being angry if I was you!
