Urgent travel after Oath ceremony

Post by kaakili » Mon Mar 14, 2016 8:18 pm

I have received Naturalisation certificate on 09.03.2016.
I have to travel to India on 20th April 2016. I'm in this forum seeking advise from the forum experts.
I have already applied for British passport on same day of ceremony expecting the passport before my travel date.
Do i need to surrender my Indian passport now or after my return to UK in May 2016?
I plan to apply for E-Visa for travel to India if Passport arrives on time.
this is my plan so far.
Can anyone advise if there is any alternative?

You can travel on your Indian passport (to enter and exit India) for 90 days from 9th March 2016. So if you return date is within 90 days, yes, you can travel.
