Tier 1 general depen. extension where main applicant on ILR

Hi,

I got ILR last month on long stay base. my husband came in UK as tire 1 general dependent in august 2014. his visa expires on 26 april 2016. so now which form we should use to extend his visa ???

can we use pbs dependent extension so we can count his stay for ILR (On 5 years base) or do we have to apply via FLR M ??

Because the rules changed in April 2014 regarding PBS dependents when the main PBS migrant applies for ILR based on long residence.

Your spouse would only have been able to continue extending the current visa if you applied for ILR based on PBS route and 5 years residence.

Have you clicked on the FLR(M) link vinny provided? It gives all the information.

He will lose the time already spent here, there is no way that you can avoid losing it.
