What are the consequences for missing a reporting

What will the Home Office do to my later applications ( Judicial review or Fresh claim) when I failed to turn up for reporting.

Will they outright refuse my applications or something else.

I will be grateful if anyone has any insight about this. Its urgent and I really need to know the consequences.

Hi everyone, I really need the help from everyone who are in similar situations or who were once in this situation but have been granted status.

I've tried to do some research on the forum, but somehow I cannot PM users in private at the moment.

Summary of my case:

-Came at the age of 13, to join my parents. Went to school and university. Found out in the last year of Uni that I overstayed my visa as my parents messed it up when I was young.
-Had been trying to regularise my status since I found out based on life and connection in this country-Not successful so far.
-I am in a relationship with a naturalised British national for over 1 year.
-Got in touch with my MP last year, whom wrote to the minister of Immigration on my behalf 2 times.
-James Brokenshire wrote back advising me reapply using FLR(FP)

I am looking for a list of successful cases that have the similar background. My MP was hoping to use them to persuade the minister to reconsider, or think favorably on my future applications.

So far I know Kstarboy1 has been granted status. Congratulations to you. And sorry I couldn't reach you in private, this this the only way I can think of so far to get you to reply to me.
(I know the case summary and some details, but I would really appreciate to have your case name/number so i can refer to, please PM me in private if you don't want to post here. It would be a great help for me or people like me in the similar situation. I thank you deeply.)

For everyone else who wish to share their story here, please feel free. I know there is probably already a post that has everything including this particular situation. However it would be nice for everyone in my situation to post here so I can present it to my MP in an organised manner.

Thanks for your timely reply. My nationality is China, I do have documents, currently immigration status is asylum-appeal right exhausted. Lawyer is preparing submitting further evidence.

But I don't know what is the right option for me, further submission or fill in FLR(FP) as advised by James brokenshire.

If anybody have read similar cases like myself, please post the links here, or even describe what you can remember. I will try to search for the original posts and see if my MP needs them.

A bit more about my case, I've been in the UK for 14 years since I was 13. (revealed my age)
Has been in the asylum system since 2013. And I have an further submission appointment coming up very soon.

I've just read another UtT case about the application of clause 117B in a proportionality test. There are discussions about "The Public Interests". However it didn't go in detail on what are the factors in a public interest.

Can anyone identify what exactly are the public interests?
-immigration enforcement (that I known)
-I've heard that in the past there were petitions raised in certain cases were able to result some sort of status. Are those account to any factors in "the public interest"?

"Public interest" is in economics elf- sufficiency of migrants, people speaking English and integrating into the community, and immigration control. That's what the statute says.

The public interest requirements under s.117B don't outweigh everything. They are applied to all cases which aren't either (a) Article 8* inside the Immigration Rules or (b) fall into other specific immigration provisions.

They aren't trump cards, they are matters which are taken to be in the balancing exercise as being in the public interest when Article 8 is considered. So you can still win Article 8 cases where (for one reason or another) Article 8 falls to be considered outside the Immigration Rules and s.117B applies.


*Article 8 is the right to private and family life, under the European Convention

Hi, I was handing in my further submission to Liverpool on the 5th of April, and today I got a call saying that it has already been refused. When I asked the reasons for refusal my lawyer was saying until they have put in a fresh claim with legal aid in 2 days time, they cannot disclose any information or give advice. They did say that after my legal aid is going through they will get an barrister/advocate to look at my decision.

They also mentioned briefly that there was a new rule/case law or something came up on the 6th of April which made Home Office able to refuse everybody within a week.
Does anyone have any in-depth information about this?

I somehow got a feeling that my lawyer is not acting for my best interest, but instead trying to "milk" my case as much as possible.

Any opinion is welcome.
