Urgent/Priority Service, Settlement Visa - Islamabad (Pak)

Hi,

Quick question, is there any urgent/priority service for settlement visa from Islamabad, Pakistan.

My wife has submitted her biometrics today at Islamabad VAC, the guy in the visa application centre told her that she should go for an urgent application since the standard one will take 5-6 months.

I understand from other timelines post here that the normal processing time is 12-weeks. But I just wanted to know if there is any urgent/priority settlement visa route for people applying from outside UK, specially Pakistan?

I also called at the help line and the lady told me that I should not be asking this question since my wife has already submitted the application I asked her to at least inform me so that i can spread the word to help other but she was very adamant that I should not be even asking this question now

Anyone know about this or can add more regarding this will be very helpful.

Priority Visa Settlement
Expedite processing of settlement visa applications ahead of all other non-priority applications
69,750 PKR/applicant payable in cash at VAC or GBP 450 online

This doesn't guarantee that the application will be quicker. If you provide the right documents and your case is straight forward (like mine was) then your application may be processed just as quickly. For example the settlement visa for my wife was granted in around a month.

Yes once the documents are submitted at Gerry's you cannot prioritise the application retrospectively.

I hope my case is straightforward - on ILR (5-year route), earning way above required limit, and a genuine marriage..and my wife has already been in UK and lived for 4-years so fingers crossed and hope it's going to be a straight forward case.

Was your spouse your PBS dependent previously? If so, why did she not continue on that visa route?
