Hi
Could any one please clarify regarding the fee to pay with Form AN.
The fee is £1236 plus £80 for ceremony. My question is shall I fill the payment slip with amount £1316 ?
Thanks

You need to pay £1236. The £80 ceremony fee is included in this, and if your application is refused, the £80 will be refunded.

Yes, provided they are over 25 years of age and are of good character (i.e. no convictions or bankruptcy etc) and have known you personally for at least 3 years.

Have you taken the time to read through the guidance notes where the required documents are listed?

Self assessment tax return if you are self employed/limited company. SA302 from HMRC are just as good if you dont have that.
I would suggest you make a photocopy of your completed application form for personal reference, as NCS would not make a photocopy on their machine and give it to you. And dont forget referees as well. Good luck!

Thanks to all who replied to my post.
I have booked appointment at NCS and they send me this e-mail:
IN LINE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOME OFFICE, EACH ADULT WHO IS APPLYING FOR BRITISH CITIZENSHIP MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING TO THE NCS APPOINTMENT;
The current AN application form for each adult applying – FULLY COMPLETED
Home Office fees by card or cheque (unfortunately no cash can be accepted)
Passports and/or travel documents that fully cover the five or three year qualifying period
Proof of indefinite leave to remain in the UK (must have had this for at least one year)
Life in the UK Letter or ESOL certificate with letter from college
Driving Licence (if applicable) – photocard and paper counterpart document
A bank statement, utility bill or payslip dated within the past last three months
==============================
P60 forms (received at the end of each tax year) for the full qualifying period - if this is not possible, a letter from your employer confirming your employment status or payslips for the full qualifying period
If self-employed, your tax self-assessments for the full qualifying period or a letter from
your accountant confirming that you have paid taxes during that time
Letters confirming any benefits received from the state for the full qualifying period
======================
My question to the experts is that do I have to submit the above three documents ??
Thanks in advance for help

Thanks in advance for help

Some of that list isn't actually required. I have a driving licence but they never asked to see that, no idea why they would, it's not a requirement for citizenship.
You may need to provide some evidence to prove your residency since you became settled (if this was a considerable time ago).
I had to show P60's from 2012 until present as I got PR in 2012 and had to prove I was still living here since then.
No need to show any letters about benefits claimed.

It appears to be a generic email. Therefore they are covering all bases, i.e. EU citizens applying, spouses of BCs applying and 5+1 applications.
Follow the AN form and guide requirements for your specific circumstances.

Hi
Infact I prefer not to submit P60 or Payslips. Instead I want to submit Letter from Employer to Home Office with Form AN. My employer can prepare me a letter but asking me what to write on that letter.
Therefore could anyone has a template of the letter.
Regards

Why do you believe you're required to submit payslips and P60s or an employer letter? Are you applying having previously being granted PR under EU regulations?

As per initial post, it appears to be because "NCS say so" in some boiler plate email that the (whichever) NCS in question currently sends out to its customers.
P60 forms (received at the end of each tax year) for the full qualifying period - if this is not possible, a letter from your employer confirming your employment status or payslips for the full qualifying period
OP has been advised at length (as above) but keeps repeating the same question about a template letter.

How about the fee for somebody who has not had their biometrics taken? I understand that the Home Office sends an invitation for biometrics once the application is accepted, but not clear whether the £1236 is inclusive of that or if an extra £25 needs to be added at the time of the application (thus paying a total of £1261)

You pay the £19-20 at the Post Office to submit/enroll your biometrics. This is separate to the £1236 application fee and you don't add the biometric enrollment fee to your citizenship fee page.
