Hi Friends,
I need one help on the qualifying period for ILR for Tier 2 general (Sponsored)
While calculating qualifying period which date should be considered
1) Date of visa granted or
2) Date of landing.
In my case I got visa on 20/04/20111 and I landed in the UK on 6th June 2011
will appreciate your help on knowing am I eligible to take appointment now?
Also about the English qualification: My degree certificate is in English. is that sufficient or I an support the Point base calculator ( which I received when I got Tier 2 general Sponsored)
As per the guideline
"This page tells you when absences will not break continuity when calculating if the continuous period requirement has been met.
Period between the issue of entry clearance and entering the UK
The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK."
Thanks,
Nik
