Leaving the country during JR process

Post by artirix » Wed Apr 20, 2016 5:38 pm

Hi

Since JR process can take up to 6 -9 months. Can a person leave the country after initiating JR process and if the ILR granted then can come back to UK?

As without the right to work during JR it is very difficult to survive in UK for 6-9 months.

Regards

Do you have your passport?

I suspect that leaving the UK will be difficult. How will you re-enter if you are successful but your documents are in the UK?

I suspect the OP is under the impression or hoping that if JR is successful UKV&I will send him an invitation to submit his passport at the nearest UKVI office in his country to issue him leave to enter UK and upon arrival he will then be issued a BRP!
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Ahhhh, yes of course. Which is probably not the case for ILR applications as they are uniquely within UK applications etc.

My biometrics were already taken when I appeared for ILR application at PEO. I don't think so one submit his passport for JR to upper tribunal.

If I am successful in getting the ILR, my residence permit will be posted to my solicitor who will then post it to my country of residence.

Please comment is this possible?
