if FLR (FP) Refused, can i make new application?

I have been living here in the UK for 7 years, i had a baby boy- 2 years old, UK born. My wife is dependent to me. I just made flr (fp) visa application saying that we really want to grow or brought of our baby here in the UK. Hearing from many people, i am almost sure that Home Office will not accept my grounds and will refuse.
So, any of you, any idea? if i can make further new application (in any category)? I heard that I can't make any application once or after my FLR application if is refused...

Hi there, thank you very much for your prompt reply. I was initially here as student (tier 4) and then psw. after that i had tier 2, work permit visa which unfortunately had been curtailed as my employer's license had been revoked... and then we recently mad flr (fp) application.

When did you receive curtailment letter and when was your tier 2 G end date per curtailment?

Why did you not try to find another sponsor for Tier 2 G?

Your reasons for FLR(FP) are quite weak. Preferring UK to home country is not really a good reason and your child is still very young and can easily adapt.
