A refund of the immigration health surcharge usually means the visa application has been refused.

Yes, My application is considered as invalid because the additional payment was not made on time. But I have all proofs that payments was made on time- 3 days before the deadline

T2 G - rejected as invalid

Post by Kaz72 » Thu May 19, 2016 11:04 am

I applied for the T2 G visa. HO has recently notified me that my visa application is rejected as invalid.

My current leave to remain is expired in March and I applied for T2G on time before the expiry of my visa.

HO claims that I didn’t pay the additional fees (which I supposed to pay in 1o working days – HO letter) within the allowed time. However, I have all the post office receipts and full tracking details that the payment proforma that was posted and received (at HO) within the allowed time. I am not sure that they have lost my letter internally or the post is at odds with events up to the date.

They have allowed me to apply with new application within 28 days. Which I don’t want to do as it will waste my last 9 years.

Please suggest me what are the other options available for me.

Many thanks

Re: Invalid application - Please advise!

Further to my previous post,

Today, I have made a call to the UKVI helpline and the adviser has told me that as I have not received any further correspondence from the UKVI.

Then this means that the letter I received from them on 11th May stating that my application is invalid still stands. Therefore, my application is still invalid, unless I receive correspondence stating otherwise.

My major concern is that I am now on day 20 out of 28 days. I have been told today that once the 28 days are up I have to leave the UK. What are my options?

Can I apply for Judicial review even though they haven't given me this option in the letter?

Can i Apply for JR after 28 days have elapsed. The advisor said i can't apply after that.

I believe this is a mistake on their part, because I paid on time and provided evidence on it.

Please help its urgent.
