People don't get it they can they can find loads of information and answers that they are looking for here and the internet most of the post are just repeating the same answer again and again I know people have many problems and situations but I have seen they are similar.

My situation is very common like others we applied for My wife's Visa application under FLR FP she got granted 10 year route Limited leave to remain to ILR ever 30 month we apply for discretionary leave

One concern many people have is when Im British Citizen I can't claim some benefits cause my partners biometric card says no recourse to public funds.

If all benefits are under your name only not partners should not affect nothing at all.

Only Child Tax Credits needs to be joint claim
Child benefit only in your name
Housing Benefit in you name only state that you are married or have partner provide bothes NI number tell then about partner not allowed public funds only should calculate you as a single person or if you have kids. If you have kids then this will be the same amount as a couple.

Remember only claim benefits if you are British Citizen in your name only apart from child tax credits joint claim only if you are meeting the visa conditions and not jeopardizing it.

Many people have problem with FLR M half way though they loose job not earning £18,600 anymore what shall i do can I claim benefits will this hurt my partners visa etc... there is alot of information on the internet you will find it for free rather then going to solicitor paying for the information plus there are people who are sharing the information for free on here and the internet the same infomation you will get from solicitor.

I'm not a solicitor nor I'm a lawyer all information are from here and researched online there are many many websites that state your answer that your looking for I know there will be question you want to ask that your not finding information on but please do your research like I do.

I'm not sure what you're suggesting members do, apart from their own research. Are you suggesting they stop asking questions about claiming benefits?
By the way...you've omitted to mention Working Tax Credits. They must also be claimed in joint names.

Some people get confused or don't understand the system, they are free to ask questions in the benefits sub forum if they wish, regardless of how much information is available here.

I know I did ask questions about benefits as i should have done some research im not saying memebers should stop asking questions about benefits im saying do some research before asking a valid question mostly its about Housing Benefit, Child Tax and child benefit. It's like your repeating the same answer in another post they can find there infomation here and online that's all.

I just found all benefit related qustions tend to be the same. Thats all
