Hi would like some help. I sent in visa application for my husband but it has been 60days now and still no news. Is anyone still waiting and is there anyway of chasing up the application.

You can't 'chase up' the application. Where was it submitted?

Sorry it was sent to the home office in Sheffield. The solicitor in have paid to help said they haven't heard anything back either.

Current official statistics show that 38% of applications submitted in Kingston, Jamaica are processed within 60
working days, and 100% within 90 working days. Note that working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or any Public holidays.

Have you heard anything yet ?
What date did you apply ?
Me and my husband applied for his visa in kingston on 20th july so really not long for us to wait now
Exciting times isnt it x

Or having a nervous breakdown down lool with all this wait. I hope hope you hear something soon too. I dnt know anyone who is going through this.

Are you counting working days or calendar days?

Hi yeah from what info I i am getting from my solicitor it's now ta king up to 90 working days to process because of England leaving the EU they have backlog on everyone..I hope u hear so.easy need soon...will try to keep u updated.

Bear in mind that 90 working days = approx 124 calendar days (more if the period includes Bank holidays).

I know ! The wait is horrendous isnt it ! We just want to know
Ive just messaged our lawyer so i will see what he has to say
Its so nice to know someone thats going through the same thing

Just gota keep busy and think positive thats all we can do really..
I'm really excited but theres still always that little bit of anxiety in the back of my mind
I just checked our emails again and it says we should hear from immigration within 12weeks and we are coming up to 11weeks so not long to go
Keep me updated with ur situation n if u ever want a chat or anythin i'm here !
