Sorry for imposing on you again but as ever, I need your assistance/advices one more time (it would be over soon, trust me

I am currently in the middle of preparing my paperwork to return home and apply for the Right of access to a child resident in the UK visa and everything else seems to be in order with the exception of Maintenance.
I have an accomodation (a two bedroom flat) but I have recently resigned from my old job therefore, there is virtually no money coming in. Suprisingly, my ex has been unusually supportive and is now helping with maintenance of our child so the money he gives coupled with the little I have from my previous salaries helps pay the rent and council tax.
Now, that seems like the accomodation bit sorted but of course the requirement states that I have to show that I can accomodate myself and any dependant once in the UK, so my problem is that they would see this as third party support which I understand is no longer acceptable.
My father helps me with some money and friends too but I don't know if this will be acceptable.
I can get a flat mate to share the rent with me but I am worried that the entry clearance would want to know who/where that money is coming from and might not accept it.
I guess my question to you kind people, is suggestions on how to meet these requirements.
Money does come in but the fact that they don't come in from a job is what bothers me and if this would be acceptable.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Twin.
