Planning to apply to sponsor husband

Hi All,
a friend of mine is planning to sponsor her husband to join her in the UK(settlement visa).

• married in March 2016 this year
• She currently works 10 hours per week and her employer have agreed to increase her hours to 50 hours per week
• she will be paid £7.31 which comes down to 19K per annum meeting the threshold required by Immigration rules
• She also lives in a studio flat so her accommodation is fine, this is rented from council
• She is in regular contact with her husband using skype etc, she visited her husband in July 2016 and spent a couple of months there.
• The company she works for is an minicab operator office, she mainly going to be doing operator work. The business have been operating for 3 years now.
• She currently have £2800 in her bank account she will be able to save some more with her new hours and wages I guess

Concerns:

• Has she got a chance of succeeding given her case?
• Her work is sometimes carried out from her own home, like picking up customer phones calls, the office phone gets forwarded to her mobile and she works from home. Could this be a cause for concern, does ECO cares much about how her work is done?
• She plans to now work for 6 months with new hours contract and then apply for her visa(will not be visiting her husband during this time for obivious reasons her pay will be impacted ) is this fine?
• The fact that she only has £2800 in her bank is this a cause for concern?

Any input from experience or see any issue shared will be very much appreciated

There will need to be a paper trail of her earnings = the most recent 6 months pay slips and the corresponding bank statements showing she meets the minimum £18,600 p.a income level.

She will also need to submit a letter from the employer on company letterhead confirming the terms of her employment.

The Council as the landlords will have to provide a letter agreeing to her husband living in the accommodation.

She doesn't need to show savings as these will be only be considered if they are over £16,500 to make up any shortfall in earnings.

It should be noted that the ECO will carry out a number enquiries to determine the nature of her employment to be genuine. They may contact her employer and asks questions - any discrepancies noted will more than likely result in the application being refused.

Also, they may check records held by HMRC and if the wage she is paid does not add up with information filed with HMRC they will again more than likely reject because they are not satisfied tha the employment is genuine.
