EEA - Omission of dates

Post by omitteddatesofeea » Tue Apr 25, 2017 3:30 pm

Hello,

I would like to know the experience of anyone that has applied for the British citizenship, that have omitted any period of absence when submitting the application.

I have a little over 160 days of continuous absence the past 12 months, I left the UK by car via France with my American Military fiance, they did not stamp my passport because I'm an EEA citizen and neither my fiance (visiting forces) got an exit stamp either. Does that mean they HO does not keep a record my/our exit?

I met my fiance in the UK, I've lived here since 2008. Obtained the PR last year and I can apply this year this month. I'm currently in the country preparing my docs to apply for the citizenship

I requested for SAR a while ago, and till no sign of it.

Thanks,
Wibke

You must answer the questions truthfully and honestly. 160 days absence in the last 12 months is too much. You should wait till this is down to 90-100 days in the final 12 months.

If you lie in the form or don't tell the whole truth and HO find out or check and know when you left and returned, it is deception.

You sign the form to state that ALL information provided is true and correct.
