Tier 2 General to Tier 2 Dependent - Applying Outside UK

Post by Prabhadharani » Tue May 30, 2017 10:15 am

HI,

My spouse holding Tier 2 General(Main applicant) Visa valid till Dec 2018 and currently she is staying in India. I have recently received a sponsorship and I am holding Tier 2 General(main applicant) Visa and it is valid till 2022. I would like to change my spouse visa to my Tier 2 dependent.

Can she apply from India? Do we have any cool off period? Do we need to switch to dependent before her Sponsorship expires/revoked?

Thanks.

She can aoply in India, no cooling off for dependent visa.

She can apply at any point, no relevance to her sponsor.
