Tier 2 ICT main applicant to Tier 2 General visa

Hi,

I am currently in UK on Tier 2 ICT main applicant since August 2014. My wife is on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa and is also working full time. If she gets Tier 2 General visa sponsored, can I switch to General dependent within UK without need to serve any cooling period in India?

No you cannot. You are subject to the 12 month cooling off period.

Thanks again. Will I be eligible for ILR if I spend 3 years on Tier 2 ICT Visa and 2 years on Tier 2 General dependent visa?

No you won't. Tier 2 ICT issued after 6th April 2010 does not lead to ILR.

You also cannot combine time as a main visa holder and as a PBS dependent to make up 5 years.

You need 5 years as a PBS dependent to qualify for ILR when your spouse does.
