Hi, please please help. I do not know what visa application to use. I gave birth to my now 5 month old son in Scotland. My partner is British. My son and I left the UK and is presently in the USA. I would like to return to the UK to join my partner and my son's family. My partner & I have NOT lived together for 2 years. My son is NOT in the UK at present, but as mentioned is a UK national. I can NOT meet financial requirements. My son and I would be living with his father, whom we SHARE all responsibilities. I do NOT have sole charge of our son.
I want to live & work and be there longer than 6 months. I hope that helps with suggesting the right visa. I feel like when I look at each visa, I do not fit into every category.

Were you in the UK on a visitor visa?

Did you pay your NHS at 150% cost if you were here as a visitor and gave birth?
