Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah Almighty, my tier 1 ent extension (Team 50k psw route) has been approved after almost 11 months. Below is the extension application processing timeline

Complex letter received 10/06/2017
kept on checking visa application status online from June to till the HO removed this service from their website (status was always AWAITING DECISION)
Email to HO @ public.enquiries 02/12/2017 (did not get reply from HO in 20 days)
Contacted to MP 18/12/2017
Team mate Contacted to his MP 01/01/2018
both MPs received the same response in Jan & Feb from HO that applicants have been sent a letter stating that their application raises some complex issues and they can not decide within the normal time
Frequency to call HO: Once in a month since November 2017 to March 2018

Application Approval Letter from HO: 25th April 2018

I must say that It was a long journey of over 10 months. But, I never contacted Home Office as I heard lot of stories about case getting spoiled because of this.

I just remained positive about my application (thats what I think and I know it is not easy)

ILR granted - mid May
Waiting time - 3.5 months

Application was for main applicant, dependants will apply later using premium service.

got Entry clearance from IND in nov 2013. 24th feb 2017 submitted for Extension.
10th march 17 biometrics letter.
16th march complex letter.
1st oct interview email and call.
9th oct interview given at my office.
13th march IHS return
14th march received email for 2nd interview at wilson street.
23rd march TOEIC interview at wilson street for 10 min
received letter on 24th april received biometrics.
and three days later received docs.

I received the approval letter, all documents, passport in One Post. Just after receiving the post, I received the BRP card by a courier when I checked my bank account, the IHS also received the same day!
I did not use any solicitors. I only followed the advise on this forum and used commonsense!
