Applying for UK nationality from Saudi Arabia

Hello all.
I am new to this forum and I hope someone can provide me with some information.

I am a British citizen and I work in Saudi Arabia.
I would like to apply for nationality for my husband and kids whilst I continue my job there.
I already know about the route when the spouse comes to work in UK and has to earn £18,600 for over 6 months. But is there another option where I can sponsor my entire family and all of us come to UK together at the same time. Please let me know the details. Thanks in advance.

How did you become British, born/naturalised???

Your husband doesn't qualify for citizenship if he is not resident in the UK.

You will have to apply for spouse/child visas and meet the financial requirement if ALL of you are returning to the UK. There is no other short cut route and not 'spouse/child of British citizen' visa if you do not move to the UK too.

When and where were the children born?

Also, as CR001 has asked, when and how did you acquire British nationality? Were you born to British parents abroad, born in the UK to British parents or did you become a British citizen by registration or naturalisation?

Thanks for your reply. I am a British citizen by registration and since my children were born outside UK, I will need to apply for a visa for them as well as for my spouse.

Can you please tell me if I can show my earnings from Saudi Arabia to fulfill the financial requirement or is the only way to come to UK first by myself, get a job and then apply for a spouse/child visa for my husband and children.

Currently both my husband have jobs in Saudi Arabia and are able to fulfill the financial requirement if we continue to work there. Also, will we be able to combine our earnings or will I have to be the one who has to show earnings since I am the applicant.

Please clarify for me. I can either show our Saudi payslips to fulfill the financial requirement or I can try looking at the savings route instead.

Only your income qualifies. In order to qualify with overseas earnings you will have to show that YOU alone have earned a minimum of £24,800 over the 12 month period prior to submitting the visa applications
AND
have a confirmed job offer in the UK to start within 3 months of arrival, again meeting the minimum earnings level of £24,800 p.a

When were you registered? Do you know which section of the British Nationality Act 1981 were you registered under? What circumstances led to your registration (parents settled in the UK, one parent is a British citizen, British mother, British unmarried father, etc)?

Knowing these circumstances may help clarify if your children have a right to British citizenship, which in turn may reduce the financial requirements.

Also, how many children do you have? The £18,600 salary requirement is just for a spouse with no children. With one child, the salary requirement goes up to £22,400 and an additional £2,400 for each additional child.

The savings requirement, if you plan to go down that route, is the ((salary requirement as calculated above x 2.5) + 16,000). So, for just the spouse, with no children involved, the salary requirement is £18,600, the savings requirement is ((18,600*2.5)+16,000)=£62,500. Depending on the number of children, that requirement grows significantly.

I've already tried applying for registration for my children which was not a feasible option as I am also a citizen through registration under British nationality Act 4c. My case was rejected as my children would be second generation applicants not born in the UK. Anyhow, I understand that the registration route is not for me.

If I just show my savings in Saudi Arabia, would I still need to show a job offer letter for the UK to apply. Is there a website where I can see all the requirements to apply and is it advisable to go through a lawyer or is it pretty straightforward to apply. Really appreciate your help.
