ILR for tier 1 entrepreneur dependents

Post by The Druid » Tue Aug 21, 2018 10:45 am

Hi all, my ILR was recently granted. Now i need to apply for ILR for my 5 kids and wife. My kids are 23, 21, 20, 17, and 11years old. My question are
1. Can my wife apply with the 2 minor kids , as the online form allows me to add them as dependent to my wife as the main applicant. Meanwhile they are all my dependent.
2. My adult children who are 3 in number. Can they apply together or separately .
3. Which supporting documents , apart from the one specified in the online form do i need to add for my wife and the children
4. Whar is the usual processing times for dependent visas.
Thanks

Moved to ILR forum. Your previous comment in your ILR granted topic inferred you were applying for a Tier 1 Dependent extension and not ILR.

Just received my ILR approval. Thank you all for your support. Am a tier 1 entrepreneur. I filed 23rd April 2018 and received visa 17th August. Now My wife and 5 kids need to file as dependents. Any topic on tier 1 entrepreneur dependent?

1. Yes, provided she meets the 5 year residence requirement. When do the dependent visas expire and what is all dependents immigration history??

2. They have to apply individually on their own. Set(O) guidance notes states clearly that dependents over 18 must complete their own forms. Hopefully none of them are 'leading an independent life'.

3. What the form asks for plus 2 years cohabitation (which it does not ask for).

4. Postal, between 8 weeks and 6 months or they can apply in person at a premium service centre.

Yes to cohabitation.

Yes to marriage cert.

The online process will tell you what you need to submit if you use the online form.

Thanks. My last child was born in the uk on20/12/06 when we were on a visit and has since lived in the UK with me since 2013. Now that I have my ILR, does he need to apply for ILR or register straight as a citizen as he is under 18 and was born after 1983

He does not need ILR. You can register him as British on form MN1 under Section 1(3) of the nationality act which is an entitlement. As he is over 10, he will need to meet the good character requirements.
