In short, i have applied for biometrics on 27th August, received sms on 31st about processed application (opted for sms service) and received passports on 1st of september through courier(as i have opted for courier service). Hope it helps.
Moreover, i have applied along with dependent (my wife), however there is no info yet. Not sure why but hope it goes through

My wife sumitted the dependent application (Biometrics) on 28th Aug from Mumbai North. No mail from UKVI regarding the decision but when called up on 31st Aug, got to know that the decision has been made. Worst part is, since the day application was submitted and also, after opting for SMS facility, she has not received any SMS from VFS regarding application received. Not sure if she will receive any further SMS regarding passport pickup. VFS is closed on Monday due to Public Holiday. Hopefully she will get her passport back by Tuesday.

Today my wife visited VFS to enquire. Surprisingly received the passport with Visa. No communication from UKVI or VFS.

Anyone applied in Aug for standard processing time and got any information.

I have applied yesterday 3 sept through vfs Pune priority. Opted for sms and courier service. Received mail today that's it's been forwarded to ECO.i will update oncei have further news. Anyone applied in Pune recently?

Yesterday received an email stating that "Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer"

No update since yesterday. Same email. I think will get message now directly saying your passport is ready and dispatched to provided address.

I don't know from which website my uk solicitor filled for visa. But on both forms type of Visa was mentioned.
