PENDING PROSECUTION

Good afternoon to all.

I'm anxious. I'm Brazilian and applying for British Citizenship through my UK ancestry. Everything is perfect except that I was prosecuted in 2014 - following severe depression - for shoplifiting a jacket for one of my children. I have no idea why I did this, since I could have paid for it. Anyway, I am otherwise a good citizen, a mother of 3, a professional journalist for over 25 years, and have an excellent job and referees for my application.

I am almost sure this stupid/action prosecution is going to get in the way.

Please give opinions.

What application exactly are you making through 'UK Ancestry'??
