Salary calculation Tier 2 pro rata, New entrant

Hi all! I am 24 years old and hold a tier 4 visa. I'm aiming to switch to Tier 2 as I got a job offer paid 21.600 pounds per annum pro rata. This is a post for teaching assistant and the salary requirement is 20.800 for new entrant. However HR is saying that the gross salary is 18.500 and therefore below the minimum requirements. I have checked the policy guidance and it says all the allowances should be added. Is there anyone who's gone through the same issue with the employer and have an advice?? The employer is willing to employ me so I'd really appreciate some advice on this. Does it matter if 21.600 is not the amount that will be coming to my bank account? Because the work is in a school I won't get paid in holidays that's why the gross is lower obvs. Really appreciate some help! Thank you.

Hi, it's "2316 Special needs education teaching professionals" and I'd be unqualified teacher.

Hi everyone, I’ve been offered a job as a learning support assistant, since I’m a new entrant everything is fine but just realized the job itself classified as a lower skill job and not eligible for tier2. The HR was giving me hard time over a week as they had no idea about my exemptions as student etc., I also made it clear in my application. I’ll discuss with the manager today and there’s another category as an unqualified teacher. “2316 Special needs education teaching professionals” would writing ‘behavioural support specialist’ or sth like that change their life? How should I negotiate the title and responsibilities for Cos? Because it costs me 1 week and they shouldn’t have processed my application if that was the case.

Really desperate for help, Thanks in advance.
