Renewal of Tier 2 or straight to ILR based on previous Tier 4 & Tier 2 visa & only 4 mnths short of 5yrs based on Tier 2

Hello, I have been on a student visa since June 2006 until June 2012. I left the country to renew my visa from my country as the university was slow in processing my CAS number. I return to the country after 1 year and then stayed another 1 year to complete my study and then transferred to a Tier 2 visa for 4 years 8 months. In summary as below.

June 2006 to July 2012 - student
July 2012 to June 2013 - Outside UK with a gap in my visa
June 2013 to June 2014 - Tier 4 student visa
June 2014 to Feb 12 2019 - Tier 2 visa

At the moment I have another job offer for 2 years, should I be applying for a new Tier 2 or should I go directly for an ILR?

I also have dependents with similar migration history

You only qualify for ILR in June next year. Student visas don't lead to ILR based on 5 years residence.
