From tier 4 dependant to tier 2

Post by Ccc21 » Mon Nov 19, 2018 11:30 pm

Hi, I am on my tier 4 dependant visa that will expire in February. My employee will sponsor me, but we are worried about how descriptive has to be the resident Labour market test? I did start my job finding it on an open site for work and they interviewed several
People including English, but they don’t have many records of this.

I am quite worried not getting the visa as I don’t know how many people usually get rejected if the have a restricted cos.

Many thanks in advance

To get an RCoS and eventually a visa, the sponsor must meet the RLMT criteria of job posting on two websites including the gove one, the advert must state the specific requirements and details as stipulated in the sponsor guidance notes. The RLMT is only one of the Requitements to be met. HO can and often do ask for full and extra details of the advert and applicants.

Thanks

and what about the RQF code. I can see my job can suit RQF 3 or RQF 4 depending on how I describe it.
If its RQF 3 the application would not be succesful?

It needs to be RQF6 for tier 2 general and a minimum salary of £30,000pa or what is stated in the SOC, whichever is higher.
