Applying for Dependent Tier 2 separately from Main applicant

Hello,

I am the main applicant of a Tier 2 visa and I got a new job ans switching employers. I also have my spouse and two kids. I want to get a new Tier 2 application in by the normal route, and wondering if I can do my Tier 2 extension applicant now and then sort their applications separately and 1 month later as the costs of doing all at same time is too much to bear now and I need to switch jobs immediately as the main applicant.

We still have 2 and half months on our current Tier 2 visa.

They can apply to extend their dependent visas at any time before their current visas expire.
