Spouse settlement visa

Post by Sabah aqeel » Fri Nov 16, 2018 12:02 am

Slaam everyone.

We have applied for the spouse settlement visa 2.5 years for hubby.

Online application: 07.11.18 PIORTY visa
Biometrics appointment: 13.11.18
Sms send to hubby 'application forwarded to ukvi'
Supporting documents sent to sheffield: 15.11.18
Recived at sheffield: solicitor has info

Alhamdulillah we have done our bit now.. just waiting on the reply in sha Allah its a positive reply can everyone do a dua for us please that my hubbys visa will be granted! In sha Allah everyone gets a positive reply!

However my 5th n 6th month payslip had an error net pay was more then gross monthly anual.. however employer said they couldn't state it in my employment supporting letter due to another lady handling payroll and she is on maternity.. :( however my solicior said he stated it on his letter.. and it should be fine! Anyone been in a similar situation?

Also my first 2 months payslips are original.. and 4 last months are printed however i didnt get employer to sign them.. would this be a problem as my solicior said it wouldnt be a problem? Also my employer has stated about my wages being on my payslips so she has mentioned something on employment letter about payslips.. so stressed

Now that you have submitted the application, I wouldn't keep digging and trying to find faults within the application as it will just cause more stress and anxiety. Hope for the best and if it's meant to be approved then it will.

If payslips are printed they require a letter from employer stating that they are genuine payslips. Error with the pay should have really been explained by your employer because the net pay should match what goes into your bank account.

Hopefully if Entry Clearance Officer needs further clarification regarding these matters, then they will contact your employer.

InshaAllah you get a positive outcome.

Mistakes in net wages might lead to a big problem. Maybe if you send the correct employer's stamped payslips with employer clarification letter with your own covering letter to HO before they make decision then it might work.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

@Londoner007

Slaam. Sorry to cause confusion.. the net pay is fine it matches what states on my payslips and whats gone into my bank account. The issue is the 6 monthly gross is equalling to £112 less then the year to date shown on the last 6 months payslip is showing £112 more. However either way i am meeting the financial requirement.. also my solicitor has stated it in his letter from his behalf about the payslips.. if Allah SWT wills for my husbands visa to be granted then it shall be InShaAllah. Please do a dua for us we hear a positive reply InShaAllah.

Thank you for a reply. I think im just stressing to much☹

Slaam. Sorry to cause a confussion. The net pay is fine it both payslips and bank statments equal the same pay. I WAS MEANT TO STATE THAT THE 6 MONTHS ANUAL GROSS TOTALS £112 LESS THEN THE YEAR TO DATE SHOWN ON THE LAST 6 MONTHS PAYSLIP WHICH SHOWS £112 MORE HOWEVER EITHER WAY THEY ADD THE TOTAL UP I AM MEETING THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT. ALSO MY SOLICITOR HAS STATED IT IN HIS LETTER ABOUT THE ERROR. PLEASE PRAY THE OUTCOME IS POSITIVE FOR US IN SHA ALLAH. THANK YOU.

SORRY FOR A CONFUSION ITS MY 6 MONTHS ANUAL GROSS PAY EQUALLING TO £112 LESS TO MY YEAR TO DATE SHOWN ON THE 6TH MONTH PAYSLIP WHICH IS SHOWING £112 MORE HOWEVER EITHER WAY I AM MEETING THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT OF MORE THEN £9300 X2 EQUALS TO JUST OVER £18600, HOWEVER MY SOLICITOR HAS STATED IT IN HIS LETTER ABOUT THE ERROR MADE ON MY PAYSLIP AS MY EMPLOYER REFUSED TO DO SO AS SHE DOES NOT DEAL WITH PAYROLL AND THE ERROR WAS NOT MADE BY HER :/ AND THE ONE WHO DOES DEAL WITH PAYROLL IS ON MATERNITY.

ALSO HAS ANYONE ELS APPLIED FOR THEIR SPOUSE VISA IF SO HAS ANYONE HAD A REPLY? IVE APPLIED FOR PIORTY SO IF ANYONE CAN UPDATE ME ON THEIR TIMELINE WOULD BE GREAT. JAZAK ALLAH KHAIR.

I PRAY EVERYONE WAITING FOR A REPLY GETS A POSITIVE OUTCOME InShaAllah.

A payslip error must be clarified by the employer itself instead a third party - solicitor and I don't think that HO will be satisfied from your solicitor clarification. If one staff is on paternity leave then anyone else in same or other department in same organization should clarify it.

As i have stated she would not state it for me there was nothing much i could do about it. However if they do have any concerns they can contact my employer and clarify the issue. If Allah SWT wills then everything will go smooth inShaAllah. Thank u for your concerns. Have u applied for a spouse settlement visa?

Spouse settlement visa

Post by Sabah aqeel » Thu Nov 22, 2018 9:19 pm

Slaam everyone. We have recently applied for my hubby (spouse settlement visa) using the PIORTY service.

Online application: 07.11.18
Biometrics appointment: 13.11.18 at islambad- pakistan.
Sms sent to hubby: 13.11.18 that they've sent the application to ukvi.
Supporting docs sent to sheffield: my solicior sent these so unsure what date he sent them.
Email received by HO: that they have all my documents and it is currently with an Entry clearance officer on the 20.11.18
Sponsor contacted: if applicable (not contacted as of yet...)
Employer contacted: not contacted as of yet.

Also if anyone's been contacted what kind of questions do they ask you?

As I've used the PIORTY service when should i be looking to hear for a reply... as its 30 working days but im unsure how to work out their working days, also i am AWARE of that it may take longer for a decision, InShaAllah we won't have to wait to long as Allah swt wills. Can someone tell me a date according to the 30 working days from the biometrics date as thats when you start counting the days..? Thank you in advance. I hope InShaAllah everyone awaiting for a decision has a positive outcome as Allah swt wills.

It's 30 days from biometrics date. They aim to make a decision within that time, but there is no guarantees.

They will ask you questions related to your whole application and what you wrote there. For example Job details, relationship details etc

Ny POINT is so 13.11.18 was the biometrics date so am i looking to hear for a reply by 17.12.18 if that makes the 30 working days? Pretty simple question.. sorry for any confusion. I just don't understand sheffields working day as they work mon-sat.

But priority applications not always guarantees to be decided in 30 days.

No! 30 working days from 13.11.18 is 24.12.18, not 17.12.18

You should hear sometimes around then. But bare in mind it is xmas and new years period so you may be slightly delayed in hearing from them.
