Moving from Tier 2 ICT main to Tier 2 General dependant

I was on a Tier 2 ICT and my wife working as a dependant the UK. My assignment has come to an end. My wife's employer has agreed to sponsor her Tier 2 General visa which might take unto 8 weeks. Please can you advise if I can switch to Tier 2 dependent visa and enter UK from the home country? Or will the cooling off period apply to me?

There is no cooling off period if applying as a dependent from Tier 2 main visa, as has been stated many times recently on the forum.
