6 month fixed term contract

Post by Polar18 » Fri Nov 30, 2018 7:22 pm

Hi there,

My wife and I are moving back to the UK next year. I was born in the UK and am a British citizen, she is kiwi. We both have high paying jobs in NZ so meet the required threshold for the previous years work. However, if I have a contract for a job in the uk earning £18,600 p.a but is a 6 months fixed term contract, will I meet the financial requirement to support my wife’s spousal visa application?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes provided that job is commencing within 3 months of arriving in uk and gives at least £18600
