Hello Sir,

I have Tier2 ICT Long Staff Migrant visa and my wife has Tier 2 pbs dependent and visa expires on April 2019.She has been working in Sheffield since 3 months and wanted to switch to tier 2 general visa.Her Employer will also provide sponsorship to support her visa.

Does she needs to return her Home country to apply for Tier 2 General visa Or Can she switch visa from here?

If She has to apply from Home country, does she need to pass IELTS for UKVI (General Training) or any other exam?

Kindly guide us, We have a lot of confusion regarding this.

She has to apply from home country with a restricted Cos.

Yes she needs to meet the English points requirement for a tier 2 general visa in addition to all the standard requirements.

In addition to the before query. My VISA is going to Expire on 9th April 2019 I am leaving to home country on 21st March 2019. I am planning to send my Wife and children to home country in February 2019 and she switches to TIER2 General VISA and Kids to TIER2 General dependent VISA and come back to UK in March 2019 before I leave UK.

Can I apply later to TIER2 General dependent VISA in April 2019 from home country ?

You can apply to change to dependent visa within the UK.
