Will my current visa be nullified if Long Residence application gets denied

I have Indefinite Leave to Remain and my wife is of dependent visa for about more than 2 years.

She has been in this country from 2007 on various visa's such as Student Visa, Post Study Work, Tier 1 HSMP and then changed to dependent after marriage as she had stopped working and could not continue with HSMP visa.

Her current dependent visa is till 2021 however as there are some restrictions with NHS for dependent visa, we are trying to see if we can apply ILR for her via Long Residence route.

Question - will her current visa be nullified if for some reason Long Residence visa gets declined.

Please note: I am eligible and applying for British Citizenship this month. So any advise on the best route for her

No.

Please note: I am eligible and applying for British Citizenship this month. So any advise on the best route for her

Irrelevant if you become British. The only advantage for her is that she won't have to wait 12 months on ILR if you are already British and she wants to apply for citizenship.

I got my ILR via PBS (tier 2 general).

Can my wife apply for British citizenship straight away once her long residence visa is accepted (once i get the citizenship)

Yes she can if she meets the 3 years residence requirements to apply as spouse of BC.
