minimum income requirement for spouse visa cash savings

I have settled person in UK and I want to sponsor my spouse from India but I am trying to meet income requirements by cash savings of £62500 but want to know more about the sources and in whose account it can be held.I am seeking information as below :
- can I use my spouses saving in India combined with my savings? if yes should we open join account in india or only his account can be used
-can get a gift from anyone

i have read guidance to meet income requirement but i am bit confused so need clarfication if anyone have knowledge of it pls enlighten me .i will grateful for anyone's response to my thread.

You can use from either account jointly yes.

-can get a gift from anyone

Yes, but it cannot be a loan and HO often ask for the paper trail of where the money comes from. You would also likely have to keep the gift for 6 months before applying.
