Standard Visitor Visa - is there a time within which the person should enter UK after Visa is granted

My brother has got a 10 year Standard Visitor visa to UK in Jun 2018. But due to personal reasons he didn't visit UK yet. I am wondering if there is any time limit within which he should enter UK after getting the visa. Please advise. Thanks.

Just out of interest whether that ten years of visitor visa was granted to him after 6 months or 2 years of visitor visa?

@vsivaratri, I too have the same queries as seagul.
Did he get the visitor visa for 10 years in first attempt ?
Or he had 6 months or 2 years or 5 years etc. previously ?
