Hi All,
I have been a silent reader of the forum so far, never had to ask anything as I can always find answers in existing queries and answers. Now I had to ask something.. I am going to make a SET (O) application through Tier-1 (Ent) route in Mid February 2019.
1. Are T1 (Ent) to SET(O) applicants eligible for Super priority service by paying £600+ extra to get decision quicker in 24hr.
2. Is it realistic to upload scan copies of 300+ sheets online (all pay slips & FPSs) for the case worker to deal with (or) is it better to upload scan copies rather than sending physical paper documents.
I know there is no straight answer for question 2, but experienced member please share what you think.
God bless you all..

No

You cant send in paper evidence anymore. You can scan and self upload before the biometric appointment or take the evidence to the centre and they can scan/upload for you. They may charge an additional fee for this. I would personally upload myself

Dear Tier11417,
Thanks for your reply.
I am little bit confused here, in the below link of the official website it says
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/ukvis-new-f ... ed-to-know
"What is changing?
Customers seeking leave to remain in the UK or to
settle permanently on the following routes will have a choice between using the existing service or the new UK Visa and Citizenship Application Service (UKVCAS):
Tier 1 (Investor)
Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)"
I am not sure if I interpreted the text to myself wrong. Can any one please be kind enough to clarify it.
Thanks in advance

What is the confusion?
You have to use SET (O) online to settle via Tier 1 E.
You have to apply via the new online system and then book an appointment for UKVCAS centre which is operated by sopra steria for your biometrics.
You can only use the new service now. Ignore the existing service text.

Dear Tier11417,
Thanks for your time and patience.
My confusion is that the website says "you have choice between using existing service or using new service through UKVCAS" if you are applying to extend your stay or Settle permanently under following categories.
As you mentioned that there is no choice to use the existing service, I was not sure if I interpreted the text wrong.
Thanks

The link is probably not updated properly. As far as i know anyone applying after 29th Nov have to use the new service now. The existing service is no longer valid.
You just have to choose the new service when you apply.

You just have to choose the new service when you apply.
You are slightly incorrect. Certain categories of applications can still use the old service/system until January sometime.

Thanks for the correction CR001.
Having said that, OP is applying under Tier 1 E so will be using online new service or can OP still use old service?

1.We did not find the choice button to chose super priority service when we submitted the online application. You may check whether you can or not.
2.We took more than 500 pages to the premium lounge of UKVCAS. They did not help us upload so many documents. They adviced us to upload a part in the office and we'd better upload the rest at home in the same day by ourselves.
